What I gained most from my thought-provoking sessions with Rachel, a transformational life coach, was to be more mindful. The wheel of life provided clarity on which areas I should prioritize, and the buildup to this with the worksheet activities that I could work on in between sessions was a huge help. This allowed me to implement small steps, such as regular Pilates sessions, which I am loving! The impact has been time for myself, exercise, and other health benefits, marking a much-needed change as I had a complete mental block over 'getting started' for too long. I also wanted to factor in more time with my partner, and highlighting this in our relationship coaching opened up conversations between us. Since then, we have done a lot more together and with friends, proving that the children are okay for a couple of days away from us! Rachel herself is a calm, approachable, and intuitive coach, making the sessions an enjoyable and comfortable experience, even with high emotions at times, from my side! She was adept at steering my tangents back to the here and now, which I admired and needed from her to get to the root issues. I am more than happy with the sessions overall (other than them being too short!), the quality of Rachel's coaching, and the short and long-term impact it has made. I feel motivated to keep referring back to my wheel and continue my journey of self-awareness coaching.
The biggest takeaway I've gained from relationship coaching is the ability to understand myself better and the confidence to truly be me. I've learned to accept who I am, even when I feel like the person nobody likes. The self awareness coaching process was like peeling an onion; I had covered myself with so many layers to hide my true self. But as I strip back these layers, I discover the person who has always been there. Rachel, my transformational life coach, is wonderful. She has a unique ability to guide me to answer my own questions without me even realizing it. It's almost stealthy how she encourages me to open up and recognize what lies beneath the surface. It's like a game of pass the parcel, where I peel off each layer of wrapping. I feel relaxed when I come to coaching sessions. Setting goals has helped me stop floundering around aimlessly, like an octopus in the ocean with tentacles flailing. I've become more focused and equipped with the tools I need to take meaningful actions. It feels as though a universal shift has occurred. To anyone considering coaching, I would say that while you might not fix everything at once, trust the process. It is a safe journey, and you will absolutely move forward because of it. I found the coaching sessions with Rachel to be hugely beneficial in helping me to focus on a goal through her relationship coaching. Our discussions facilitated my self-awareness coaching, allowing me to identify what was a priority. Rachel is a great listener, very patient and calm. I came away from the sessions with her feeling very positive and motivated. I think that she is an excellent transformational life coach, as she certainly helped me with moving my mum into a care home and selling my home. The coaching sessions with Rachel have been invaluable in enhancing my self-awareness, helping me identify which areas of my life I want to change most. Some areas felt overwhelmingly large, but the coaching sessions allowed us to focus on the central issues and set achievable, realistic goals that made the changes seem possible rather than impossible.
